The basis of my theory is that the mind takes lower order patterns (from our muscles and senses) and finds higher level causes for those patterns. And so can then simulate a higher order existence than would be possible merely from 2 dimensional sensory source patterns left as they are.

But it might be possible to rise further, past the 2nd and 3rd dimensional causes for our experiences, and on to possible fourth and beyond. What this could mean is that our existing biological brain may be capable of ascension without the need for technology. By following its existing path of stitching together higher level causes from lower order effects.

Our biological minds do appear limited in the level of wisdom we can achieve. The number of objects we can simulate. The depth and precision for knowing truth. A single observer perspective. Being enslaved by our aesthetics. Transcension is about what it means to rise above these limits.

We may think we are wise, but we are likely only wise relative to a very low standard. Transcension means recognizing our intellectual limits. And that with our current level of wisdom, we really cannot make the kind of profound predictions about our nature or our destiny that we seek. Our priority should be to acquire the wisdom first - possibly through science, drugs or technology, since biological evolution might be too unreliable or slow. Only then can we edge toward answering the bigger questions.

My suspicion is that transcension may involve recognizing that there is only one truth. But it is the weakness of our present minds that cannot see much of this. Not through fault, but simple lack of power, due to the limits of biological technology. Perhaps because we remain largely stuck within 3rd dimensional thinking processes and enslaved by our genetically derived aesthetics.

Consider an apple. Each atom that makes up the apple will have a true location. And had true locations through all of time, right up until the moment of now. If two people were aware of the apple, and knew the 'truth'. They would have no disagreement about reality. Because a difference in perspective (where the observer is) does not alter the truth. And if all memory records were similarly aligned to truth, there could be no disagreement between them regarding physical reality.

Only to the extent they are in error over the truth can they be in a state of disagreement (- other than their 'values'). So if the parts of our minds associated with encoding reality are aligned to truth, then these parts might as well be in common. Only the individual perspective and values need represent any uniqueness. But it can now, never create disagreement over what is true. Not if the truth of 3d reality is known in common.

Our unique identity is partly represented by memories (episodic) of the polarization (observer collapsed) path through our simulated models of reality. And the more paths are open to us for reflection, the greater our potential for experience and for wisdom.

But perhaps the fastest way to collect paths (experience), conceptually at least, is to merge all our individual conscious experiences together. It is only to the extent of our errors and of our limitations of perspective that we consider ourselves separate beings. And so consider the idea of a shared consciousness as frightening. Perhaps these errors are what drives the illusion of seperation between individuals.

A consciousness limited to one perspective (as now) is poorer, in relation to wisdom, than a multi-polarizing consciousness. And a multi-polarizing consciousness. I.e. one that can simultaneously experience 3d reality from different perspectives in space and time, is very much like a community of unique individuals without their errors of perception.

The only remaining cause for conflict is from our individual values. How we emotionally grade our polarization paths through our memories of what we believe is true. At the moment, we consider our values as the core of our uniqueness. We rarely consider how they were programmed into us to begin with. Or their relation to any higher truth or higher wisdom.

I suspect that there is a universal set of values capable of being shared, or adopted, by all individuals. That given the chance to temporarily experience such an alignment of our core values. Values more aligned from wisdom. We would discover a marked improvement in our capacity to love life, and would prefer to keep these new values over our old ones.

At the moment, our spiritual connection to each other is largely through language, which is slow and inefficient. And our simulations of 3d reality are full of errors, and our perspectives always unique. So we must use a mental technology like 'empathy' to smooth out the differences. To help build faith in one another.

I also suspect that our emotional experience may not need to be based on the separation of individuals. Not based on our unique perceptions. Mere perception may not be seen as sufficient cause to dominate emotional experience. That in this level of existence, the pure bliss of love is the highest level of consciousness we can reach. It is where you end up when all errors or perception are removed. When your belief filters of reality are clear and true. Beyond bliss comes rapture. And our physical bodies and minds cannot survive rapture for very long.

In a way, we are creating our unique moment of now, out of all the moments of time stretching out into our past. And through language and history, down into past eras. And our perception of now is a reflection upon that pool of compressed time.
